Born in Port au Prince Haiti, Brusma DAPHNIS is a Dancer, Choreographer and director. He obtained Diplomas and Certificates in Dance at the Viviane GAUTHIER Dance School, he studied at the National School of Arts “ENARTS”, RMT Academy and at the Haitian American Academy of Ballet and Arts. He also holds a Diploma in Legal Sciences. Since the age of fifteen (15) he has been running cultural structures to supervise young people working in this sector. Particularly, those evolving in the difficult districts of the country (Haiti) while using culture as an element of change. He has also worked in several national and international institutions in Haiti as Consultant or cultural advisor: "MJSAC, MCC, UNFPA, OIM, HEVETAS Haiti, UNESCO, CAP, PHAS" etc ... at the same time, PLAS TIMOUN project (psychosocial support for children living in the various camps in the metropolitan area) initiated by the office of the First Lady of the Republic after the earthquake of January 12, 2010, he initiated the project: "Sociocultural Animation Program in the Camps of the victims of the 2010 earthquake (Cultural Advisor), Awareness project against Cholera and Risk and Disaster Reduction of the IOM (2010-2012).
